Queens Park House
Currently under construction, Hunters Hill House represents a comprehensive transformation of both the interiors and exterior. Se Déa was engaged to deliver full interior design alongside exterior refinishing, including recladding the existing house, developing a new exterior palette that incorporated new stonework and tiling, and detailing these new architectural finishes. The scope also extends to an upgraded outdoor entertainment area, designed as an extension of the home’s refined aesthetic.
Inside, the interiors have been exhaustively reimagined. In the kitchen and living spaces, a layering of custom-carved stone skirting, rich stone pairings, warm timbers and bold black accents sets a subtly masculine, earthy tone. This is balanced by softer moments elsewhere: in the master bedroom, black ceilings and angular forms were replaced with sweeping curves and a softly textured paint finish, introducing a more feminine sensibility.
Together, these layered expressions create a home that is both robust and deeply considered, refining a previous renovation and elevating it into the contemporary era with an earthy sense of calm luxury.
